Ketaki Adi is a multimedia artist and muralist, originally from India and now lives in San Jose. She is actively involved in the local art community, having organized and collaborated on various art initiatives and exhibited her work with the Sunnyvale Art Club, Silicon Valley Open Studios, and the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce. Ketaki coordinated with and contributed to beautification projects at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds, including three murals, and painted an electrical box in San Jose. She was also selected to paint a live mural at the State of the City event in Sunnyvale.
Ketaki’s artistic journey has led her through various media, including watercolor, acrylic as well as ceramics and artistic cakes. Her engineering background shapes her approach to art, blending technical precision with creative expression.
Ketaki passionately paints with alcohol inks and acrylic inks, embracing the serendipity of their fluid nature to create unique, organic patterns. She lets the inks guide her in capturing emotions, often layering them with the bold structure of acrylics to create dynamic compositions. Ketaki draws inspiration from the rich colors of her Indian heritage, the tones in nature, and the emotions they evoke.
Ketaki offers private and group art classes at her art studio in Sunnyvale.
